Information We Collect
You can browse ViewOurPlanet without creating an account or providing personal information. If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and information included in your message.
Our hosting provider may process technical connection information, including IP addresses and server logs, for website operation, troubleshooting, and security.
How We Use Information
We use email correspondence to respond to inquiries. Technical information may be processed to maintain website functionality and security. We do not sell personal information.
Google Analytics 4
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, page visits, and how visitors interact with ViewOurPlanet.
Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser and device information, and online identifiers. Analytics measurement is activated only after you accept optional analytics through our consent interface.

Statcounter
With your permission, we also use Statcounter to measure website visits and understand navigation patterns, including which pages are visited.

Statcounter is activated only after you accept optional analytics.

Cookies and Analytics Consent
We use an analytics consent interface that allows you to accept or reject optional analytics. Google Analytics and Statcounter are not intended to load before you accept analytics.
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser using local storage under the key viewourplanet-cookie-consent.
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the Analytics settings button displayed on the website.
If you withdraw consent, we stop optional analytics measurement for subsequent page loads and attempt to remove accessible analytics cookies. Previously collected information may remain subject to the providers' retention policies.
Google AdSense and Advertising
ViewOurPlanet includes Google AdSense technology and is currently undergoing advertising review. The presence of the AdSense script does not mean advertisements are already being displayed.
If advertising becomes active, Google and its partners may process information and use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements.
We have published a Google consent management message for European visitors. Its appearance and operation are being verified. Advertising consent is separate from the optional analytics preference described above.

Interactive Maps
Our interactive maps use mapping technology, including MapLibre GL JS and map tiles from OpenStreetMap-related services. When maps are displayed, your browser may connect to external tile servers, transmitting technical information such as your IP address.

ViewOurPlanet uses information from external data providers and public sources. Third-party websites linked from our pages maintain their own privacy policies.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also raise concerns with the relevant data protection authority.
